Alpha deliver specialist Search and Rescue training to Middle Eastern Special Forces

Alpha Training Safety Solutions Ltd are delighted to have just completed a seven week training contract, for a professional Special Forces Search and Rescue Team from the Middle East.

The group of 32 men undertook a range of intensive search and rescue training courses over the seven week period and rotated their time between Alpha Training HQ, Gatwick, Shoreham by Sea, and Brighton.

The specialist courses delivered by Alpha Training’s unique team included:

Working in High Risk Confined Spaces
Emergency Rescue and Recovery of Casualties from High Risk Confined Spaces
Breathing Apparatus within Confined Spaces Operator
Rope Rescue Operator
Swift Water Rescue Technician
Power Boat Operator
Timber Shoring
Power Tools Operator
Small Tools Operator
Chemical Biological Radioactive Nuclear (CBRN)

Staying at the Gatwick Hilton Hotel, the group was split down into manageable sizes, and rotated their time between the courses and locations to ensure a thorough and intensive, real life hands on experience.

The seven week contract, cumulated with an ‘end of term’ Barbecue at Alpha Training’s rural headquarters, followed by a graduation event with course certificate presentations, as well as trophies and prizes for outstanding achievements.
