Alpha training team members awarded NCFE Level 2 Equality and Diversity Certification
We would like to congratulate trainers Andrew Meade, Rob Dipper and Simon Le-Galloudec for successfully completing a NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity.
As a company, Alpha Training are commited to Equality and Diversity in the workplace, and this course explores the issues around stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination. It also helps you identify the basic rights that all people should enjoy and the shared values people have, whilst examining the responsibility each person and organisation has in ensuring that barriers to participation in the work place and society are removed.
Special congratulations must go to Simon, our Internal Quality Assurer, who is leading the team by example. The verifyer commented that the work he submitted was of an exemplar standard, which was echoed by the course assessor.
Simon added:
"The syllabus was interesting and required in-depth research on a general level, but also at a local council level in respect to the demographics of local population. This course had a total completion time of eight weeks for the four chosen units - and each unit took over four hours to research. There was a lot of work involved for a level 2 qualification!
I have recommended that all of the Alpha trainers complete this worthwhile training as part of their CPD and general awareness."
