Who is this course for?
The sessions include key areas such as Basic Life Support, Resuscitation, Unconscious casualty management, Choking, bleeding and burns. The emphasis is very much on practical application and it gives the delegates a basic knowledge of skills that can be applied well both in the work environment, and at home.
Aim
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981 and other key legislation and UK protocols including company specific policies and procedures.
Learning Outcomes
Delegates will have a greater understanding of the theoretical and practical application of basic first aid awareness at home and in the workplace.
Delivery Method
A fun combination of classroom based activity, syndicate working, presentation/demonstrations and hands-on practical applications. A wide range of video and photographic material is also used to enhance the learning experience for delegates.
Assessment and Certification
Continued assessment process leading to certification on successfully completing the course.
