Rescue 2 work with WWT Arundel Wetland Centre

Rescue 2 were delighted recently to be able to help out our friends and neighbours at the WWT Arundel Wetland Centre.

Two of our team spent the day at WWT Arundel Wetland Centre and have a prepared a complimentary risk assessment for contractors and workers who would need to work on the Visitor Centre.  Due to the nature and build of the centre, which is on a large pontoon type structure surrounded by water, there are obvious risks and confined space environments that contractors and staff will need to work within.

If work is required in the future, Rescue 2 will provide teams of rescue technicians to oversee the works, and provide a rescue and extraction team should the need arise.

The Wetland Centre is deep in the Sussex Downs surrounded by ancient woodlands and overlooked by Arundel Castle. A series of naturalised lakes, ponds and channels each offer wetlands habitats for wildlife and wildfowl from around the world.  The Arundel Wetlands Centre is one of ten across the UK.
